Your Journey to Eternal Life
The Bible shows us a clear path to salvation through a series of verses in the book of Romans. Follow this "road" to discover God's incredible plan for your life.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
— Romans 3:23
The first step on the road to salvation is recognizing our need. Every person—no matter how good we may seem—has sinned and fallen short of God's perfect standard. Sin separates us from a holy God.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
— Romans 6:23
Sin earns us spiritual death—eternal separation from God. But here's the good news: while sin brings death, God offers a free gift of eternal life! This gift comes only through Jesus Christ.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
— Romans 5:8
God didn't wait for us to become perfect before He showed His love. While we were still sinners—rebellious and lost—Christ died for us! This is the heart of the Gospel: God's unconditional love demonstrated through the sacrifice of His Son.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
— Romans 10:9-10
Salvation isn't about good works or religious rituals. It's about a sincere heart that believes Jesus died for your sins, was buried, and rose again—and confessing Him as your Lord. When you truly believe and confess, you will be saved!
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
— Romans 10:13
Whosoever—that means YOU! No matter who you are, where you've been, or what you've done, if you call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, you will be saved. This promise is for everyone.
If you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died for your sins, and rose again, you can receive Him as your Savior right now. Simply pray from your heart:
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose from the grave. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name, Amen."
If you prayed that prayer and meant it from your heart, the Bible says you are now saved!
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
— Ephesians 2:8-9
